Ann is a fantastic teacher. Very generous with her knowledge and very encouraging to students. From beginners through to advanced pupils she can offer guidance at all levels. Starting her lessons with a demonstration is great for someone new to painting or using pastels and is also useful for those needing to have a refresher or consolidate techniques they have used before. She makes everyone feel comfortable and offers help and advice where needed. Its also fun!. I can wholeheartedly recommend Ann classes to anyone wishing to have a go. Annis

I love the art classes! I started in October and had never picked up a pastel before. Ann is very knowledgable and passionate, which is contagious. The weekly projects are challenging yet rewarding. I felt comfortable from the first minute i walked into the studio. Everyone is really welcoming and kind. I've had lots of compliments about my art. I am excited to see what next term brings Natascha

Learning of Ann's pastel class was the best thing I did. At the time I lived alone and really looked forward to my Wednesday class (and still do) even though it is two buses and a train to get there. It shows how good a teacher Ann is, very talented and friendly and apart from learning so much I now have a whole bunch of new friends and loads of lovely pictures I never thought I would be able to achieve. I did pastel and acrylics with Ann last year and I learnt so much. Lovely friendly atmosphere, great art room and Ann is very generous and gives excellent tips. Couldn't do this year due to work commitments. Hope to join some more next year. Julia

I am Jordana's Mum and I cannot praise Ann highly enough. She is a wonderful art teacher. She’s very patient and very knowledgeable about the use of different mediums and allows the students to create and express themselves. We have Jordana's work on the walls in our house and people are blown away by what she creates in her lessons. Please do yourselves a favour and book in for some lessons
I did a pastel course with Ann earlier this year and very much enjoyed it. I had never done pastels before and Ann is brilliant at guiding you though the process at the beginning of each class. She has fantastic reference for you to use on whatever the subject is that day. For me the classes could have been a bit longer so that you can try to finish your picture but you are able to stay a bit longer just unaided. I would highly recommend Ann’s classes to anyone wanting to give it a go. Amy

Ann is amazing!! My creative side was getting so frustrated and then one of Ann's workshops gave me a love for a medium I didn't even know existed and now love! Truly talented and an awesome teacher. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone but get in quick those classes fill up!! Shay

With some very easy to follow guidelines, Ann manages to bring out the best in everyone's style!! The art classes are fun & I love Ann's humour, which makes her art & her students art seem effortless! Very worthwhile!! Chairmane
